No baby. According to the scan, there is actually a baby in there (although all I saw was a big bum and some ribs), but he doesn't appear to be heading on out.

Masses have now fallen off the baby pool, including me - proving that mother doesn't always know best.
In other news, I continue to go crazy and wonder why people send me emails along the lines of 'Hurry up and have the baby.' Honestly, if I had any say in the matter this child would have been born in November. Still, at least I slept last night (5 bathroom trips aside!).

No baby.
Was at the doctor this morning and she had a poke at the belly. I'm going for a scan on Monday because no one is entirely sure they can tell his head from his arse. This seems strangely accurate.

Dear faithful readers,
I have had many lovely emails and comments from you saying how excited you are, and how you're waiting for news, and I really do appreciate the enthusiasm. Having been at the other end of waiting for blog updates on babies, though, I know how it is, and I hate to leave you all hanging and wondering if no updates means something. So how about this. I'll post every day that nothing happens. When there's no post saying nothing's happened, then hopefully something will have happened :o)
I could do this in an interesting and insightful way, but my brain really has turned to mush. When I went swimming the other day, I almost left the showers without rinsing the shampoo off my head. This was after I put my wallet, phone and keys in the locker, put the 20p in the locker, and then happily walked off without turning the key. Reading anything other than trashy celeb magazines is beyond me, and full sentences seem a real challenge. So, don't expect anything more than something along the following lines:
My wonderful friends and family, as of today nothing has happened.

Today it's one month until our due date.
In two months, my mum will arrive and the baby will definitely be here, and at least two weeks old.
